A reward is being offered in an effort to catch the man who tried to rob a Benton Harbor bank last month.

The man entered Horizon Bank in the 10000 block of East Napier Avenue on the afternoon of Jan. 8.

Police say he passed one of the tellers a note, only to run away moments later.

The man is described as a black man, about 20 to 30-years-old wearing a white or gray hoodie and glasses.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a thousand dollars for information leading to an arrest.

Any tips can be reported to 1-800-342-STOP.
