On November 5th, the referee at the 6A semi-state game between Carmel and Penn High School collapsed, after suffering a heart attack. Joe Calderazzo woke up as he was carried off the field, and waved to the crowd, signaling he was okay. He shares what was going on in his head during those terrifying moments, in an in-depth interview with WNDU’s sister station in Indianapolis, WTHR.
