SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- A lawsuit involving a South Bend restaurant has reached its end.
Today the Redevelopment Commission approved a $2,000 settlement, and dismissed the lawsuit with "The Vine".
The Vine was closed abruptly by the city in May because the owner was six months behind in rent.
The restaurant had already been calling customers telling them they were closing in June and would be shut down by May 31.
The city acted quickly and changed the locks to recoup any losses by selling off any furniture or equipment still inside.
