RedBud hosted truck racing Saturday and Sunday

Buchanan, Mich. RedBud looked a little bit different this weekend. The track was filled with trucks. RedBud hosted its 3rd trucks race as part of the Off-Road Championship.

Moto-Cross Legend Ricky Carmichael is new to driving trucks, but he hit the track he knows so well both Saturday and Sunday. And although he says he wasn't too excited with Saturday's performance, he says the fans make it worth it.

“It's a cool experience it really is I’m thankful for the opportunity to see the great fans that used to come here when I was racing motorcycles,” says Ricky Carmichael a 7-time RedBud Motocross Champion. “RedBud has the best fans in the country in my opinion and it was cool to see them as well.”

“It's been a blast here so far watching the race,” said Carter Schmidt who was celebrating his birthday. “It's my first time here and it's just been a blast.”

Carmichael, the 7-time RedBud Motocross Champion, came in eighth place in the Pro-Light Division.
