WNDU's Chief Meteorologist Mike Hoffman was named one of the Outstanding Alumni for Purdue University this past weekend.
Mike earned his award through the Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences Department (EAPS) at Purdue.
Over the years, 41 graduates have been named as outstanding alumni out of about 1600 in the program. Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Purdue in 1981, and after several different jobs over the years came to WNDU in May of 1994.
