South Bend, Ind.--- The St, Joseph County prosecutor has declined to charge the father of a Common Council member.
Henry Davis Sr. had a complaint filed against him by Common Council member, Derek Dieter, after a heated Common Council meeting that took place last month.
During an investigation it was determined that Henry Davis Sr.'s actions during the meeting did not rise to the level of either the crime of Intimidation or the crime of Disorderly Conduct.
This incident stems from the controversy surrounding Henry Davis Sr.'s son, Henry Davis Jr., who is a Common Council member.
Henry Davis Jr. had complaints filed against him due to a controversial Facebook post.
The Common Council later determined that Henry Davis Jr. would not be punished for his controversial post.
