Students at LaSalle Elementary school banded together for a good cause to see a member of the faculty get a pie in the face.
Sixth graders from LaSalle Elementary were raising money to fund a field trip by selling candy bars.
When sales were a bit slow, the school added the incentive of one member of the faculty getting a pie in the face if they succeeded.
For each candy bar purchased, the students earned a vote to select both the person who would get the pie in the face and the teacher who would throw the pie.
The principal, Doctor Theodore Stevens won the honor to wear the pie.
The principal got the pie in the face around 11:15 a.m. on Monday, meaning he had about four hours of school left to deal with the pie all over his head.
