More progress is being made in Federal Court with the lawsuit over recorded South Bend Police Department telephone calls.
The case filed by the city has now been combined with the cases filed by those who were recorded. A preliminary pre-trial conference has been scheduled for February 12.
The case seeks a ruling on whether recorded telephone conversations on Police Department lines, can be released to the public.
