There's some power plant project progress to report in New Carlisle.
The state of Indiana has issued a preliminary permit for a proposed $700 million dollar electric plant off Walnut Road near Edison.
A public hearing on the permit has been scheduled for Thursday, October 4th.
It will be held at New Prairie High School staring at 6:00 p.m. EST.
While the power plant project is behind schedule, it remains on track.
It's now hoped that construction will begin in late 2013.
