Potawatomi Zoo holds Zoo Boo Friday and Saturday

Families came out to the Potawatomi Zoo, not to just look at the animals, but also to be scared, as the annual Zoo Boo kicked off Friday evening.

The zoo didn't spare any expense to get into the Halloween mood this year. The event went on until nine, Friday night.

While decorations filled the zoo, they even had a haunted train ride! It's all part of the zoo's way to have a fun and unique experience at the zoo.

Marcy Dean, Director Pot Zoo, describes the animals, "They're so cute and it's so much fun to see all the little trick-or-treaters in here, the vendors love it, the zoo staff love it, and we just love being able to provide a an amazing safe trick-or-treat event for our area families."

If you didn't make it out Friday night, don't worry, the zoo will be open Saturday night from 6-9 p.m. Admission is eight dollars for adults and six dollars for children. They'll also host a little Zoo Boo event on Sunday from 12-4 p.m.
