A roaring good time at the Potawatomi Zoo on Saturday, as zoo-goers celebrated two very special birthdays.
Ivory and Flash, the zoo’s resident tigers, turned 18 this week.
Each of the tigers got a birthday present, big pieces of meat to feast on.
Families dropped by to see tigers celebrate. They were also encouraged to bring birthday cards.
Organizers say it is uncommon for tigers to live to be 18 years old.
Last year was the first year a birthday party was held for the two, but zoo officials say they hope to carry on the tradition.
