Police and the FBI are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank in New Carlisle Saturday morning.
It happened around 9:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo located in the 100 block of East Michigan St.
According to Chief Jeff Roseboom, of the New Carlisle Police Department, a man walked up to a drive-through window and demanded money from a teller. The suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The St. Joseph County Police Department's K-9 Unit was training nearby and quickly responded to the scene. The K-9s were able to find a trail, but it ended about three blocks away.
The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.
The FBI is working with the New Carlisle Police Department to locate the suspect, per standard procedure.
