Police warn St. Joseph residents of thefts from unlocked cars

St. Joseph, Michigan A plea from police is warning residents to make sure to lock their vehicles.

Authorities in St. Joseph, Michigan have been getting widespread reports of thefts from open cars.

Our reporting partners at the Herald-Palladium say she was arrested Tuesday at her home in Goshen.

say, so far, victims have lost GPS devices, cell phones and a 1 carat diamond ring.

Police advise residents to lock their cars, even in the garage, and to leave the lights outside your home on if you can.
