A driver wanted in connection with a hit and run in St. Joseph County Monday night has been caught. And police say that driver, was driving under the influence.
The crash happened just after 7 p.m. in the 64000 block of Oak Road, just east of Potato Creek State Park.
Police say a car made an illegal pass of another vehicle, and hit a pick-up truck. The driver of that pick-up truck left the scene, and was later caught.
Police believe the driver was under the influence. Drugs were also found near the scene of the crash. Four people were involved, their injuries were non-life threatening.
