Investigators have concluded their work on-scene of the deadly fire in Three Oaks.

The fire took place February 6th in the 200 block of Elm Street.

Homeowners Orville D. Kiernan, 77, and Leota G. Kiernan, 76, their granddaughter Anna M. Peek, 20, and her boyfriend Kyle R. Tyler, 19, died in the fire.

Michigan State Police say the fire originated in the kitchen or in a storage room off the kitchen. Investigators are unable to determine an exact origin because of the extensive damage on the home.

A report by the Michigan State Police Fire Investigation Unit will now be handed over to the Michigan State Police, Niles Post.

Police say nothing indicates that the fire was suspicious in anyway.
