Mishawaka Police need help finding a suspect who they say robbed the 1st Source Bank at 405 east McKinley Avenue. They believe the suspect may also be connected to a robbery at the AAA Credit Union on Edison Lake Parkway on June 10th at 9:30 a.m.

It happened Wednesday at 10:53 a.m.

Police say the suspect approached one of the tellers and demanded money. He reportedly threatened to shoot the teller, if she handed him the dye pack.

The teller gave the suspect money, and he left the bank. The suspect was headed towards a get away car, and the dye pack exploded, just outside the bank.

That's when the suspect dropped the bag and left in a vehicle parked near the bank.

Mishawaka Police Detectives are investigating the crime. They are asking anyone with information to call (574) 258-1684 or Crime Stoppers at (574) 288-STOP. All tips to Crime Stoppers are anonymous.
