Police have launched an investigation into the death of a Starke County man.
Just after 9:00 Saturday morning, police found a dead body inside a home along Bass Lake that's just south of Knox.
Although investigators have not released the man's name, we're told his body was badly decomposed.
Foul play cannot be ruled out and so the Starke County Sheriff's Department has launched a death investigation.
That will begin with a forensic autopsy scheduled for Monday.
