LAPORTE COUNTY LaPorte County police are on the lookout for salesmen who are selling meat and seafood door-to-door without a license.

The sales are enticing because the prices are much lower than in grocery stores, but customers often complain that they didn't receive as much meat as they paid for.

If they don’t have the proper licenses, it is illegal for salesmen to sell food door-to-door.

Anyone who encounters these salesmen should contact police immediately.
