Police say a 1-year-old boy miraculously has no injuries after falling 20 feet from a third-story balcony.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Miami Hills Apartment Complex off High Street in South Bend.

In a statement to police, the child's mother says she was putting laundry outside while the boy and his 2-year-old sibling were with her. She says the 2-year-old pushed or collided with the 1-year-old boy, sending him falling face first into the ground.
The baby was crying when police arrived and was rushed to the hospital. Police say it appears he doesn't have a single injury. They're continuing to investigate.
