Police continue to search for suspect in Monday morning shooting

South Bend, Ind. A man charged with murder and attempted murder following a fatal South Bend shooting Monday morning is still on the loose.

43-year-old Anthony 'Bones' Jefferson, accused of murdering 34-year-old Jason Reid and shooting 32-year-old Tyreece Walker, now faces additional charges. He has been charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of confinement.

The shooting happened around 5:15 Monday morning in the 600 block of Brookfield Street, where a neighbor reported hearing several shots fired.

Police are still searching for Jefferson and say he's considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees Jefferson should not approach him and call 911 immediately.
