Police have arrested two suspects following a 2-hour-long chase in the North Liberty area on Thursday.

The suspects, a male juvenile and an adult male, were reported to police after apparently robbing a home in the 64,000 block of Smilax Road.

The suspects drove into a cornfield near the intersection of New Road and State Road 23. Police say they fled the vehicle on foot.

15 - 20 officers and K-9 units from the state, county and South bend were involved in the search across an 18-mile perimeter. Two homicide officers arrested the suspects around 11:15a.m. Thursday in nearby woods.
