Police break up robbery in progress

BENTON HARBOR An armed robbery was brought to a quick end, when police walked up as it happened.

Benton Harbor police say two suspects were holding a victim at gunpoint when they arrived at the address in the 200 block of Jefferson Court just after noon Wednesday.

Both suspects fled, but police caught 25-year-old Willie Hull, Jr. a short distance away and recovered the victim's wallet and cell phone. Hull faces numerous charges, including armed robbery and resisting arrest.

The second suspect still hasn't been found.
