The Plymouth Blueberry Festival has more than just donuts this year.
The local rotary club is hosting its first annual antique show and sale.
The event started Friday but runs through the weekend and tomorrow starting at 10 a.m. you can bring your own items to have appraised.
Admission is $3, but all the proceeds are going to a good cause.
"Going to school is an expensive proposition,” said Dave Hogsett, event organizer for the Plymouth Rotary Club. “So, we're glad to be able to provide these scholarships. And we have a wonderful treasurer at Ancilla College, which is in Doladson, which is just west of here. And we're happy to provide them with the scholarships. So we're just excited about helping young people get a leg up in life."
The antique show idea stemmed from Hogsett, who said they wanted a fun way to raise money for local kids.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
The armory can be found at 1220 west Madison Street.
