A Stevensville man could face up to a year in jail after pleading no contest to a high-speed car chase that ended in a woman's death.

The Herald Palladium reports that 26-year-old Qudonis Harrell drove one of several cars involved in a September 22nd chase in Benton Township.

28-year-old Latesha Hill was killed, after the car she was riding in crashed into a mobile home.

The chase apparently started after several people got into an argument.

The driver of the car hill was riding in, 27-year-old Alexis Washington, allegedly hit one of Harrell’s brothers as she drove away. Harrell and his two brothers then took off after her, all in separate vehicles.

Washington pleaded no contest to her charges last week and faces up to five years in prison.
