Penn senior Austin Torres has decided to play college basketball at Central Michigan.
"It's a great feeling," Torres told NewsCenter 16 on Monday. "God has been on my side. It's truly a blessing to have this chance to play at Central Michigan."
The 6'6" forward chooses the Chippewas over the likes of Northern Illinois, IUPUI and Rice.
"I went there in June for my first unofficial visit and I really enjoyed what I saw and I wanted to go back this past Thursday and I went and really like it, liked everything about it and made my decision [Sunday] night," Torres explained.
The move means that Torres will be college rivals with current high school teammate Leo Svete, who will play college ball at Western Michigan.
