Penn, Oregon-Davis each shoot for state title in girls hoops Saturday

Two area schools--one the largest in Michiana, the other among the smallest---both shoot for the same goal Saturday---each to re-produce a similar celebration as to the ones they've already had the last several weeks.

Penn looks to take down a legend and his girls. The Kingsmen face former Mr. Basketball Damon Bailey and defending State Champ Bedford North Lawrence in the 8:30 Saturday night 4A game. A win gives Penn its first ever state title in girls basketball.

Penn suffered one loss all season---that was to Oregon-Davis. The Bobcats are in the 1A State Finals against Vincennes Rivet Saturday at 10:30. O-D is going after its 2nd state title ever.

The goal is simple... to be #1 come Saturday.
