Members of the Van Buren County Narcotics Division received information on the location of a wanted person, 20-year-old Caleb Roe.

Members from the narcotics division were conducting surveillance Friday on a residence in the 62000 block of 41st Street in Paw Paw Township when they observed Roe and a 19-year-old female exit a residence and get into a parked vehicle.

After identifying Roe, detectives attempted to take him into custody.

Roe shoved one of the detectives and was able to get by detectives.

After a short foot chase, narcotics detectives were able to apprehend him.

The 19-year-old female that was with Roe will possibly face charges at a later time.
