The 55-year-old Troy father that first went missing, then found dead, died from multiple blows to his head. That's according to the autopsy report.
The Oakland County medical examiner's office said that Patrick Mikes' death was a homicide.
Mikes' body was found Friday near Montrose in Genesee county.
21-year-old Patrick Mikes Jr., pleaded not guilty Thursday during his arraignment on open murder charges and remains jailed pending an August 27th court hearing.
Authorities say they believe Mikes was killed in his basement.
His two sons said he left on his bike July 27 and reported him missing July 29.
Mike's, Sr. is a 1979 Notre Dame grad and Mikes, Jr. was enrolled at Notre Dame until the beginning of August.
