PGA America donates money to Benton Harbor Boys and Girls Club

Benton Harbor, Mich. The PGA of America is pledging some major funds to a Youth Development Program in Benton Harbor.

First Tee will get $300,000 over the next four years, to help in its mission of building character and life skills through the game of golf. $75,000 of the donation was presented Tuesday afternoon, at the Boys and Girls Club of Benton Harbor.

First Tee of Benton Harbor serves about 1,500 youth a year, and aims to double the program within five years. The PGA donated the gift in conjunction with the Senior PGA Championship presented by Kitchen-Aid.
