Christmas is just two weeks away, but there are still lots of families that won't have presents under the tree without your help.
Andrew Berlin, Owner of the South Bend Silver Hawks, and Major Bob Webster of the Kroc Center were in Mishawaka Monday ringing bells for the Salvation Army.
The goal is to raise $340,000 this year to help those in need, but right now, the group is only at about 50-percent of that goal.
“The Silver Hawks had a great year last year and I think the appropriate thing is to give back to the community,” says the Owner of the South Bend Silver Hawks Andrew Berlin. “We're looking forward to a great year next year and we will do it again.”
Almost 1,400 families are counting on donations from the Salvation Army.
