One person injured in Cass County crash

One person is injured after a crash in Marcellus Township in Cass County.
It happened at 6 a.m. Wednesday on Marcellus Highway, near Finch Rd. 48-year-old Rosemarie Guest of Marcellus was injured.
Police say Guest was going west on Marcellus Highway when she lost control of her vehicle. She went off the road, hit a tree stump, went back up on the road and hit an oncoming vehicle.
The other vehicle was driven by 34-year-old Eric Hoopes of Cassopolis. His vehicle was pushed off the road and hit a utility box.
Guest was taken to Borgess Hospital in Dowagiac. Hoopes was not injured.
