St. Joseph County, Ind. Funeral arrangements have been released for a teen killed in a car crash last week.

The St. Joseph Co. F.A.C.T team is investigating the crash that happened Friday night in the 51000 block of Mayflower.

The victim of the crash was Patrick J. Sellers, 19.

The wreck occurred around 9 p.m. as he was driving northbound on Mayflower.

Sellers was trying to pass another vehicle, which was being driven by one of his friends, when his vehicle "dropped a tire."

Sellers then over corrected, hit a pole and then went into a tree.

Police believe speed was a factor, and toxicology results are pending.

According to his obituary, Sellers graduated from Clay High School last year where he was active in wrestling, track, football and baseball. His family says he also had a passion for skateboarding and was an Eagle Scout.

Visitation for Sellers will be on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 2-8 p.m. at Kaniewski Funeral Home on N. Bendix Dr. in South Bend. His funeral will be on Friday at 11 a.m. at Apostolic Church on S. Ironwood Dr.
