NEW PARIS, Ind. The man who allegedly threatened to plant a bomb in the New Paris area has been arrested.

Police arrested Walter Glasgow, 53, in Goshen this afternoon on felony charges of false reporting.

The investigation revealed there was never any real threat to the New Paris community, but police say they take the investigation of bomb threats very seriously.

The threatening call came into the 911 call center yesterday, not specifying any time, date or location.

As a precaution, administrators at New Paris Elementary didn't let students walk home yesterday.

Authorities have limited the information they have released about the threat, in order not to hamper the investigation and prosecution of the suspect.
