A Notre Dame student has been arraigned on an open murder charge in connection with his father’s disappearance and murder investigation.
According to the NBC-affiliate in Detroit, Notre Dame student, Patrick Mikes Jr., has been denied bond on the open murder charge Thursday.
Troy police say they believe Mikes killed his father in the basement of his home, where investigators found evidence of a struggle..
That evidence including blood from both Patrick Mikes sr. and Jr.
This comes as the search for Mikes Sr. continues.
This isn't the first brush with law for Mikes Jr. Last week he was charged with fraud for illegally using a financial transaction device.
