Notre Dame remains ranked 22nd in the latest Associated Press Poll, a day after defeating Michigan State 17-13 at Notre Dame Stadium to improve to 3-1 on the season.
The Irish will host unbeaten Oklahoma next Saturday at 3:30. The Sooners, who did not play this weekend, remained at the #14 spot.
Michigan, the only team to beat Notre Dame so far, dropped three spots to #18 despite coming from behind to beat UConn on the road. Since beating the Irish, the Wolverines struggled against lowly Akron and now UConn and that clearly hasn't sat well with voters.
Notre Dame will face Arizona State in two weeks. The Sun Devils dropped out of the top 25 with a 42-24 loss to Stanford on Saturday. The Cardinal remain ranked #5 in the AP Poll. Stanford is Notre Dame's final opponent this season.
The Irish dropped one spot from 21st to 22nd in the Coaches Poll.
