Saturday night was a good night for a stroll in North Liberty during their second annual Candlelight Walk.

The festivities were spread out all over town, from a live nativity on the north side, to hot chocolate and cookies at the library, complete with a wagon ride connecting the points in between.

Local cub scout carolers even made the rounds to keep spirits bright.

The event is a fundraiser, to help North Liberty sponsor more community events like this one.

Mary Klinedinst, Home Tour Chairman, says "North Liberty is such a wonderful community, and we just want to get the community involved in several different things."

Klinedinst also says, "We do have activities like the Potato Creek festival in the summer, and we want to have a winter event where it's good for the whole family."

Eight different homes were open for viewing on the home tour.

And the highlight of the evening?

Pictures with Santa.
