A North Judson man is accused of beating up his mother.
Our reporting partner, WKVI, says he was arrested on Friday.
The 19-year-old is accused of battering her while being intoxicated, destroying items inside the home and locking her inside.
She was able to get out and call for help. She is now pressing charges.
