No one injured in morning fire in Elkhart

Firefighters were out late Wednesday morning working to put out a blaze at a home on County Road 11 and Grover Street in Elkhart.

Nobody was hurt was hurt in the fire. There were some dogs inside the home when it broke out, but they all escaped.

It appears the fire started in the basement and spread to the first floor. The Red Cross is providing food, lodging and clothes to the family who lived there.
