South Bend, Ind. Some Michiana students got a lesson in success this evening, from someone who's seen a lot of it here at NewsCenter 16.
Holy Cross College kicked off their “Practical Lessons in Success" program Wednesday night.
Our own Maureen McFadden, a Holy Cross alum herself, was the first guest speaker of the year.
The school invites community and business leaders to campus to share their insights with students and give them tips on how they, too, can achieve the same success.
“What's even more important, besides her own success in her professional career, she's been very active in the civic community in terms of charity events and other activities that support the greater growth of the Michiana community,” said Brother John Page, C.S.C., President of Holy Cross. “So she's truly a model for our students.”
Wednesday was the first of six business seminars holy cross will be holding throughout the school year.
