ELKHART A man accused of robbing, kidnapping and beating a 68-year-old man last year is now facing additional charges for a separate robbery that occurred the same day.

34-year-old Tyrone Winkleman is accused of faking a seizure last January outside of the Budget Inn in Elkhart. It was a diversion, before he reportedly took a 68-year-old man hostage inside the victim's own car. Winkleman is accused of driving him to an ATM and forcing him to withdraw money.

Winkleman is now also a suspect in a separate robbery that occurred that same day at an Elkhart aalon, Studio 327. He is accused of threatening an employee and another customer with a knife, locking them in a closet, and taking money from their purses.

The Elkhart Truth reports that with these latest charges, Winkleman faces a total of up to 170 years in prison.
