Four years as President of the South Bend School Board was enough for Roger Parent.
Parent let it be known that he did not want the job for another term, saying it was too time consuming and kept him from concentrating on educational issues.
Monday night, Michelle Engel was chosen as the new Board President, John Stancati will be the Vice President and Dawn Jones will serve as Treasurer.
