A plane crash in Gary, Indiana on Wednesday killed two men from St. Augustine, Florida.
Vincent Vaccarello, 48, and Patsy Crisafi, 45, were killed when the small plane they were flying in crashed in a wooded area about a mile short of Gary-Chicago International Airport. The Lake County coroner says she used dental records to determine the identities of the two victims.
The single-engine plane was registered to a Florida group and departed from an airport in Smyrna, Tennessee earlier on Wednesday. Aviation officials have not released any additional information about what caused the plane to go down.
