Murder suspect competency in question

A man charged in the death of a 17-year-old girl was back in court this week, to learn the results of a second competency evaluation.

One of those evaluations found that Michael Shoun is fit to stand trial, but The Elkhart Truth reports that the other evaluation found he is not.Shoun must now undergo a third evaluation.

Shoun is accused in the November death of Tiana Alter. She died of multiple sharp force injuries.
