With camera crews and actors, you may think you're in Hollywood. If you were traveling across the Jefferson Bridge on Thursday you may have seen a local production company called Living Mud Productions filming a movie right here in South Bend.
The movie is called "The Bridge" and is appropriately set on the Jefferson Bridge. The crew had originally set to have the bridge closed for filming, but had to work around traffic with a morning gas leak that caused the evacuation of downtown.
The director, Danielle Minnes, says the film is about a woman who's lost her way in life and gets help from a special visitor that shows her how much better her life could be.
The movie is set to be finished early next year. Minnes says they hope to show it at film festivals and local theaters.
