Hundreds of motorcyclists from across Michiana will hit the road to "ride for a reason", Sunday, July 13th.

The "Northern Indiana Ride for Kids" will take place at Pinhook Park in South Bend. The ride helps raise money and awareness for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

Police in St. Joseph and LaPorte counties will escorted the riders. The grand finale featured interviews with local children currently fighting brain tumors as well as survivors. The ride is 50 miles in length.

Proceeds from the event went to benefit medical research grants and family support programs through the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

This was the tenth year for the "Ride for Kids" event.
