In addition to driving drunk, police say a young mother that was arrested last night was driving around while her young child was home alone.
Today, 24-year-old Hollyann McBrdige of Sturgis was arraigned on charges of child neglect and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
She was pulled over just before 9 p.m. last night for drunk driving , police later learned that her two-year-old child had been left at home without any supervision.
Officials say this is the second time this year that McBridge has been in trouble with the law. In July she was arrested for driving under the influence, the instance was marked by the presence of a child in the car when police pulled her over.
McBridge is currently being held on 6,500 dollars bond.
