The storms that raced across Michiana left thousands of people in the dark on Sunday night.

Here are the most recent outage numbers in our area:

59 broken poles and 15 damaged transformers

Restoration estimates:
Buchanan area: 11 p.m. Thursday
Benton Harbor area: 11 p.m. Thursday
Three Rivers area: 11 p.m. Thursday
Elkhart area: Fully restored
South Bend area: 6 p.m. Thursday
North central LaPorte County: 11 p.m. Thursday

Approximate number of I&M customers without power as of 9 p.m:
Benton Harbor area: 2,434 customers
Three Rivers area: 1,970 customers
Buchanan area: 1,037 customers
New Buffalo area: 905 customers
South Bend area: 1,871 customers
Elkhart area: Fully restored
North-central LaPorte County: 535

Midwest Energy
Just over 400 customers are still without power. All Michigan customers should have power by the end of the week. There are 34 broken poles and 24 downed power lines which require more time to restore.
