The hearing has been postponed for a New Carlisle mother charged with child neglect after her children were found dead inside a car trunk.
Jacqueline Wilk was originally scheduled to appear in court today after being charged with two counts of child neglect after the deaths of her children. That hearing has now been pushed back to January 4, 2013.
Last June Wilk’s sons, Dominick Wilk and Isaac Dunner, only four and two-years-old respectively, died after getting into the trunk of a car outside their home.
A forensic pathologist says heat caused the half-brothers’ organs to shut down. Their accidental deaths led to Wilk’s two charges of neglect.
