Baby ducks that became stuck in a storm drain are free, thanks to the help of Mishawaka residents and workers.

One resident took a walk early in the morning and originally saw the four baby ducks and their mom by a storm drain near Kamm Island.

When he came back, another women said she saw the mom circling the drain.

When the man looked inside, he saw the baby ducks at the bottom of the drain and called for help.

Two Mishawaka utility workers came to the rescue, opening up the drain and saving the babies.

They brought the unharmed ducklings to the river, where they were eventually reunited with mom and dad.
