A Mishawaka native may be headed to the big screen, facing off against the Jedi in the new Star Wars movie.

Adam Driver currently plays "Adam" in the HBO series “Girls"

The 2001 Mishawaka High School graduate was nominated for an Emmy last year for outstanding supporting actor in a comedy series.

Now Time Magazine reports Driver is in final negotiations for a villain in “Star Wars Episode VII.”

Drivers exact role hasn't been announced yet in the continuation of the series created by George Lucas.

The movie could start production as early as May, and is set for release some time next year.
